Rescuing a failed SimpleScript install?

Not sure why installing Concrete5 is harder on my fifth site, but couldn't get it to work manually and then tried Simple Script. Database access was the error I couldn't get past. Is there a way to access what is installed and repair the links manually? Since I tried 4 times to get SImple Script to work I am being asked to pay to try again.

If none of it works and you can't install manually but with all installs you get a database error then I think it is time you contact your host.

Most likely your database information is incorrect so let them reset the enviroment.

GoDaddy's database system does confuse a bit with the labels for things like username, database name etc. I've unraveled this for four other sites. Let me see if I can see what I did on those.

So no way to access the site right now and work on the database settings through a browser?

I broke down and reinstalled it. Then I checked how I had set permissions on another install and did that to the new one and it worked.
