Scheduled Upgrade to PHP 5.4 > Any known issues?
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi Everyone
I'm about to get an upgrade from PHP 5.2.x to PHP 5.4 across about 30 Concrete5 websites that I manage.
Has anyone else made the upgrade and found any issues with the C5 sites?
MAINTENANCE WINDOW: 11:00PM Wednesday 27th November 2013 AEST
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: 5-10Minute interruption as services are upgraded and server restarted
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: Upgrading PHP to 5.4 & Enabling CloudLinux "Cage_FS" & "PHP_Selector" features.
Cheers...

Concrete5 works perfectly on PHP5.4, but custom code or outdated packages can cause issues. Maybe you can make a list of websites that are more likely to throw errors?
Thanks akodde. Most are running the latest version of concrete and I regularly update the add-ons. Might have to do a bit of an audit of what add-ons I'm using and see how old they are.
Older 5.4.x versions of concrete5 have issues on PHP 5.4, it's those you need to look into if you have any left. Version 5.5/5.6 is fine on PHP 5.4.
