Search functionality

I've got a problem with the search functionality of concrete5:

In the right upper corner of my site (www.vzwdorp.eu), you can see a search field. It's there because it was in the theme I installed, but I think it points to the wrong page. How can I solve this?

Further on: when I have a look at my install directory of concrete5, I see:
LICENSE.TXT blocks config css files index.php js libraries models robots.txt sitemap.xml tools
README concrete controllers elements helpers jobs languages mail packages single_pages themes updates

And then in the concrete folder I see:
blocks config controllers css dispatcher.php elements flash helpers images jobs js libraries mail models packages single_pages startup themes tools

So the same directories are coming back, is this normal? Or did I do anything wrong with the install?

Thanks for your time to have a look at this.

regards,

Michael

A. you want to go into root/packages/zenlike/themes/zenlike and then look in header.php and in default.php for <form> tags and delete from <form> to </form> and that should get rid of the fake search.
B. It is normal for the directories to repeat.

Thanks for your answer, but I don't want to get rid of the fake search, I want it to work :-)

Any idea of how to do that for the whole site? (and not just a search on a per page basis).

Michael

Ok, thanks to that link, I managed to get it working.

Two remarks though:

1) I added the search block to the global scrapbook with the following options:
Search Within Path: Everywhere
Post to Another Page Elsewhere: search

So I made a page called "search" under the home folder and told it not to show up in the navigation.

Now my first question: why are the search results given in my header and not in the body of that page?

2) Whe I search for something, the results are very poor, even though I ran the "Index Search Engine" Job and it tells me: "68 page(s) indexed."
When I seach for a word that's on a page, I almost always get: "There were no results found. Please try another keyword or phrase." Unless when I search for the name of a page, then I get a result.

How come?

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated!

regards,

Michael
