second install in a subdir

We're trying to create a demo enviroment where we can show some different themes.

we have a concrete site in for example concrete.netaffairs.nl

now we want a total of 5 demo sites which we'd like to be in concrete.netaffairs.nl/demo1, etc.

concrete however doesn't accept the /demo1 as a folder but it looks at it as a page.

how can we change this so the /demo1 can have another concrete installation? basicly we need to know how to make concrete accept the /demo1 as a folder instead of a page.

making demo1 a folder is unnecessary. If you make demo1 the landing page of your demo and then add the other pages you want in demo1 UNDER demo1 this will work perfect. I've done this for three demo themes on my site. When you start adding pages under demo1 it will turn into a folder in your site map. All the subpages you add to demo1 will automatically take the same theme as demo1 as well.

For Instance: I have my main site ashttp://www.rynomediaonline.com
but I have created three themes that I wanted to demo so I have them like this:
www.www.rynomediaonline.com/concrete5/black-accents....
www.www.rynomediaonline.com/concrete5/soul-mate...
www.www.rynomediaonline.com/concrete5/grunge-columns...

This lets me display all the themes from a single page /concrete5 and keeps my site map nice and clean. Each theme has between 3-6 pages in them helping to demonstrate the page types that come with those themes.

Thanks, that was indeed the solution I needed.
