Server hacked and c5 site completely gone...

Server hacked (through a non c5 site) and all sites completely gone. The only thing backed up were the databases.
Q: Can I do a fresh install of c5; add the theme, addons etc and just link to the database?

yes, if you know how to manually create config/site.php you don't even need to actually do the install process.. just make sure packages/blocks and themes are restored and link into the database. If I were you I'd probably download a backup of the database before you start tinkering, just incase
