I have my MAMP local host server set up and I can connect to it using Dreamweaver for a site I am working on, however, I cannot install concrete5 because I cannot connect to the database. I get a "Unable to connect to database error." I am on a mac. My server is /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ Username – root, Password root, & Database Name concrete. I am not sure if I changed the user passwords? where can I find the area where I have my password? I have 2 users listed, root & Tony
I never got this message: Now, paste the information from the welcome page under ‘Database’ information, and give your database a name, e.g. ‘concrete’, and hit ‘Install Concrete’. You should now be given a login name and a password. Remember this, and change it as soon as you have logged in?
My MAMP Server was already installed. What am I doing wrong?
Anyone’s help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Chris
