Shopify for Concrete5

Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this (or have a laugh if this is a dumb question). First of all, I have literally no clue what codes are or anything like that, I've never worked with computers. I've built our website with only extremely basic knowledge of the internet and a lot of help from Microsoft Paint, so please keep help very simple. You won't offend me if you explain this like you're explaining it to a child. I'm really very terrible with this type of stuff. Everything is very tedious and I'm trying to figure things out with help forums but I haven't seen anything on this.

So, we have a Concrete 5 website. We also just set up a Shopify store. I'd like to add the Shopify store (or parts of it) onto our website. So, I downloaded and installed Shopify and followed the instructions from Concrete 5. I added a new page, got that set up, go to add Shopify to the block, and it's blank. So I finally find out how you login to Shopify from the Dashboard but when I go to Dashboard and try to configure Shopify it all goes bad. I type in our Shopify URL. Then there's this box that says "Include external link to store in top level navigation." I have no idea what that means so I've tried it both ways- with it checked and without it checked. Then it tells you to go to Shopify, create a new private app, and copy and paste the API key and password. I did that. Then I send everything through and it says it "couldn't connect to Shopify." In the instructions it says that if it doesn't connect just to reset everything and redo it. I don't have any clue how to reset anything or what even to reset so I delete the private apps, delete the new page on my website, uninstall Shopify on Concrete 5, and start over. I've done this over 15 times and no matter what I do, which computer I use, I just can't get it to connect. I'm really hoping this is just a basic issue and that I just can't figure it out because I'm computer illiterate.

If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it! And please, if this is a really simple issue, don't laugh at me (: I seriously used Paint to configure half of our photos to the right size for the website. I'm really that bad with computers. If it helps this is our website- not sure if the "SHOP" tab will show up or not, can't figure out how that keeps getting messed up. I think it has something to do with that external link that keeps adding.http://www.bigtopvape.com/
