Simple underscore Question {solved}

hi folks,
do i get this right the "Unable to connect to database." error i get is due that my mySQL username and Database Name include a _ underscore. Is there anything i can do to get concrete running? btw: i can not remove the underscore from booth because of my host.

Are you sure the problem is with the underscore? I have seen a few problems with hyphens, but I'm 99% certain i've had no problems with _ in the username, database, or password (something that is typical on a cpanel host).

I would make sure your user has permission to the database because it sounds like your at least getting connected to the server...

it was all my mistake, after i looked over the rights i found that i had a typo in my username - thx for your help!
