i am trying to instan Concrete5. i unzipped the download and uploaded it to my "public.html" after this when i go to my domain it says: "Concrete could not locate site.php, within the config directory. To install Concrete"
so i then fill out the required fields and i get many error messages.

I'm having the same problem.
I'm having the exact same issue. I created a blank file called "site.php" and made it editable and placed it in the config folder. I submitted my installation but then i just got a blank screen.
same issue. I had the problem on XP Pro with IIS. I removed IIS, and put Apache. Exact same problem.
I am currently following/debugging the install scripts.
I am stuck on the /single_pages/install.php
I am not a php programmer, but we'll see what I can find.
Can anybody tell me when you click the Install Concrete button, what script is that invoking? I can't seem to figure it out.
