I began putting together my site a couple of days ago on another computer. I am now on a different computer and can't seem to get into using admin to work on the site. Do I always have to be on the same computer? Where is the "dashboard" that I saw the other day? Can I work from any computer?

Nope, you should be able to access it from any computer.

You'd log into your site at:
yoursite.com/index.php/login

I did place in the URL onthespot.c5host.com and it only takes me to my profile page. I cannot find where I access the "dashboard." The other day I accessed it through "admin" but logging in as that with my password tells me that either one is in error. I am confused.

Go to this url:
http://onthespot.c5host.com/index.php/dashboard...

Do you know what web browser you're using? If you're using an old computer one with Internet Explorer 6, that could cause problems.

When you say error, what error specifically did you get?

make sure you're logging in with the username: admin and whatever password you setup.

Once you login, you should see a gray bar across the top with a link on the right side to the dashboard.

I just got there. I don't know what I did different. What I did was put in:
onthespot.c5host.com with my password and it came up. Thanks. However, the latest work I did was select a theme but I don't see it anywhere. I go to the dashboard and it is not apparent that it is there. I go back to the "website" and C5's generic random moving theme is there. Where would my theme be? I know this can be simple and I have navigated through Wordpress without major issues. It is not as plain to me yet I suppose.

Okay I am so sorry and I am figuring out how to navigate through C5 a little more. The theme photos in the Column Cruiser theme moves from one photo to the next. In the menu of themes the birch trees is fixed in the theme and this is what I want for now. So how to I get it to be fixed in the theme photo at the header?
