Stats disappeared

I was amazed by the 1000's people who visited my site. Overnight this slashed to zero - no visits according to the Statistics. Which isnt true because I have e mails from the site. Any ideas?

are they back? the server time is probbably different than your own

still not stats, they have been down a couple of months
