Suggestions for Pointing Root to Subfolder -
Permalink
Hey there -
Currently trying to figure out how to accomplish whats being explained in this documentation ->http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/organise-...
I understand the reasoning behind setting up the environment like this but how is it possible? I've tried this solution explained here ->http://chanon.info/change-main-domain-to-subfolder/399/... however all it accomplishes is successfully redirecting the root url, and does not mask any url's past the root. Perhaps this isn't possible??
Even brought this up with my web hosting service and they didn't seem to have the answer either?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! And I'm sure useful for others who want to implement this great idea but don't know how -
Thanks in advance -

Somewhere in your web host control panel will be a page for setting up domains and subdomains. That is the key to making it all work.
By default, when you buy a domain through a web host it will usually end up pointing at your root folder. But through whatever page they give you to manage your domains, you will be able to point it anywhere within your host file system and to set up subdomains.
Just how you do that depends on the control panel the host gives you.
