Support for C5 Request Urls trouble - please help

I am somewhat new to Concrete5. My host is a local company and probably has some PHP settings wrong - please help me! Need to get this installation up and running if at all possible. I get the dreaded "Concrete cannot parse the PATH_INFO or ORIG_PATH_INFO information provided by your server" error.

Please help me understand why this happens, and if it can be fixed. My Info.php is:

path_info isn't working,

http://www.bcsmpo.org/info.php/test... should show the same page with some values changed, but it doesn't

contact your host, no other cms would work on that (unless it uses get)

Thanks, I'll do that next week and post back what I hear. The hosting co is a regional one, Suddenlink, in Texas - I hate it, but that is what my work wants to use to spend money locally.
