Every time I update a site to the newer version of c5, I end up with the following error:

An unexpected error occurred.
Could not determine temp directory, please specify a cache_dir manually

I do not have this with new installs, only updates of the c5 version. I know the solution, have it bookmarked, in fact, however, it seems this should be fixed so it doesn't happen. It's a pain to continually have to do this manually.

Any thoughts on this fix??? Can we get it to the core???
