Themes not showing images after install

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Having recently re-installed C5 (and done so multiple times but with no more positive results) I am only getting the Greek Yogurt theme showing fully with all images and layout. All the other pre-installed themes as well as a purchased one are now displaying without any images / slider images. I attach a screen shot of the chocolate theme. I am at my wits' end.

Recursive permissions applied to /config /files & /packages

It's like paths are not being properly read.

I used to find it a breeze to install successfully, now it's giving me the same type of error all the time.

Help me! :-)

No theme will show the images or so called banner image automatically. You have to make it sure that your theme has the same area name as we have in Greek yogurt. So that it automatically show the default images.

Anyway why you are upto any default image, where you can easily add your own images by editing the site and add image block easily. If you need help regarding designing a site, you can find a no of videos and how-to in the C5 site.

Thanks for your reply Rony. However didn't understand "the same area name". When I first installed C5, I found it easy to do so and all the pre-installed themes showed fully when any on was activated.

I have now activated a theme which I know I previously installed successfully but it now only shows as a 'bare bones' with huge amounts missing. Compare:

Something hugely wrong in how I have installed either C5 or the theme. I suspect the former as the other themes are missing images and content.
