Hi,
I have a site ready to go live on instant setup. I have hosting with 123-reg, a company not offered on this site. How do I transfer the site onto the my host?

you can't, its a trial demo site, its meant just to play with c5
Is this really true? How do you take it live then as I have built a site in the same manner (demo version) and now want to host it on 123.reg.... Am I actually restricted to Concrete 5 hosting only?
I might be wrong but I'm not sure you can even move a demo site to C5 hosting. The demo is just a demo as stated in the introductory sentence on the page where you sign up to try it out.

The demo accounts are quite limited in what you can do compared to a true installation because you have no access to the PHP code. I've used demo accounts many times as a basis for comparison to see if I can replicate development issues I might be having with my real installation but it never occurred to me to try to build a full site with the demo and transfer it somewhere. I think the demo accounts are only good for 30 days or so and then they die a quick death.
