Trying to upgrade to 5.5.2 unsuccessfully

Permalink
Hi - I seem to be having problems upgrading to 5.5.2 from 5.4.2.2 I have copied the latest version 5.5 over the concrete folder. and in the updates folder is 5.5.2. However when I go to upgrade it says
Your site is already up to date! The current version of Concrete5 is 5.4.2.2. You should remove this file for security.
I've changed the config file to say
<?php define('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED', 'concrete5.5.2')
What am I doing wrong I'm confused. Why should it still be thinking it on version 5.4.2.2? I really need to sort this the site is running fine on 5.5 on another server. Any ideas anyone??

when you say you have copied the latest version over the concrete folder, Can you just explain a little clearer exactly what you mean?

I've managed to resolve this situation by upgrading from my host. It was an incomplete upgrade. Thanks anyway
