Unable to complete Demo installation

Hi,

I'm having a problem in setting up the instant demo of Concrete5.

Once I've completed the necessary credentials I am presented with a page that shows me it is testing for required and optional items. All of these fields have a green tick against them so I click on the button marked 'continue to installation'.

The next page I get asks me to fill in database and server information that I don't know. I've tried this four times now with different demo site names and the result is always the same.

Can anyone suggest what is going wrong?

thanks,
Calum

You have to have a database on your server. You can create this in the control panel of your webhost (not concrete5).

Thanks for that info.

I'm surprised that this is necessary, given that the invitation states, "... If you just want to start playing with a fully functioning demo now, just fill out this form and we will automatically setup a copy on our trial server."

There's no mention of needing to provide your own hosting and database. A further search of the forum suggests that the trial should work without the need for the user to supply these:
http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/demo-install...

I'm hoping I can just set up the trial to have a play around without too much fuss.

Thanks,
Calum

Is there any formal support for this sort of thing?

Or are we just reliant on fellow members coming across a post looking for help and happening to know the answer?
