Unable to connect to database when installing Concrete5 from Dreamhost

Hi i am unable to connect to database when installing Concrete5 from Dreamhost. Can someone guide me please?

In the installation form, how are you filling out the server location? If you are filling it out with localhost, that is most likely your problem. The server should be mysql.domain.com where domain is your domain name. For instance if you domain is helloworld.org your mysql server is mysql.helloworld.org

***Just a Note*** I believe that you can set it up to be a different domain, but if you used the one click install it should be as above.

You should also check your DB Username, Password, and Database to make sure they are correct.

Oh I meant to add. If you think that may be your problem, but you are still not sure of your server location. You can go to your Dreamhost Web Panel -> Goodies -> MySQL Databases and it will list all of your host names. Just copy & paste the appropriate one in the Server field.
