Update 5.6.1

Hi there,

I want to upgrade to 5.6.1 but when I apply Upgrades through the Dashboard or when I login and it offers latest Upgrades, it states that I am already running the latest upgrade which is 5.6.0.2.

Any ideas as to how to get round this because I cannot apply a new theme and add on that I have purchased!

Any advice much appreciated.

Regards,

David

Download v5.6.1 fromhttp://www.concrete5.org/developers/downloads/... and upload it (uncompressed) to [root]/updates/concrete5.6.1 it will show up in the dashboard as an available update.

Make sure you backup your database before installing.

Thanks for your reply - the strange thing is that the Bootstrap theme and Auto-Nav-Pro added fine for one of my sites running on 5.6.0.2 but not on the other running on the same version.

I'm going to try and upgrade as you suggest.

Thanks,

David

Many thanks John, as always. I'll try and upgrade as you and Netjunky above suggest but it still always presents me with a challenge!

As I mentioned in my answer above, I wouldn't normally try and Upgrade before it becomes available automatically as I am not technically sufficient but in this case, it seems to be the only way to now get Bootstrap and Auto-Nav-Pro to work!

Many thanks,

David
