Update from 5.5.2.1 to 5.6.1.2

Can any one tell me if I can update directly to 5.6.1.2 from 5.5.2.1? are there any in between I must have? I have tried the gradual update but I can't go from 5.5.2.1 to 5.6.0.2. I'm stuck at 5.5.2.1 unless I go to the latest version.

I believe that you can go straight to the latest version. I am not aware of any potential problems. I may be wrong, but I highly doubt that there would be a conflict.

OBC has it right. 5.5.2.1 is the minimum version needed to upgrade to 5.6.0 or higher.
When in doubt, check the download page for the recommended steps in upgrading,
