update to concrete5.8.5
Permalink
Recently I started using concrete5.8.4 and I like it.
Now I get notifications about update to concrete5.8.5, but it causes problems.
I get the message:
Whoops \ Exception \ ErrorException (E_ERROR)
Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 48238592 bytes)
Is there a solution for that?

Upgrading through the dashboard takes a lot of server resources, do you have access to do it on the command line?
Download the latest core fromwww.www.concrete5.org/download....
Unzip the file.
ssh into your web server and enter the web directory.
Enable the Maintenance Mode:
Replace the concrete directory in the web root with the concrete directory you downloaded.
Perform the upgrade:

Thanks for your answer.
I downloaded concrete5.8.5 and uploaded it to the tmp folder (.zip)
I copied the concrtete folder into the folder with the original concrete folder.
Thereafter i could remove the "tmp" files and teh update was realised.
Thanks a lot.
