Updating

When I try to update from Version 5.5.2 to current version I get an error

The directory /var/www/vhosts/geometrics.ie/httpdocs/updates must be writable

Any ideas. ?

This is a file permission problem. Just right click on the Updates folder & click on the "File Permission..", then put 755 on numeric field value.
Note: This process is for Linux servers only.
