Upgrade from 5.4 to 5.4.0.3 zip error

I've tried the auto download but get the following error:

There was an error unpacking the file. Perhaps you have not uploaded a valid zip file, or you do not have zip installed.

Any words of wisdom more than welcome.

OK I admit - I fixed this issue - when I stood back from the trees (and contacted my very speedy hosting provider) they pointed out that not many websites can run with zero disk space left.

I was looking at the detail and the real issue was a simple resolve by increasing disk space. Now the fantastic update works great. Genius!
