Upgrade from 5.4.1.1 to 5.5.2.2 failed, How to restore?

Today I tried to upgrade from 5.4.1.1. directly to 5.5.2.2 from the dashboard, which apparently is not possible. I know that now! :D

I got some errors and now I'm trying to restore it (gladly I made backups). What I did:

- I replaced the folder 'concrete' to the 5.4.1.1 version
- I deleted all tables in the sql database and imported the backup file
- I changed the C5 version number in the config/site.php back to 5.4.1.1

But now nothing works, I only get a blank page, not even an error.

What should I do?

the constant in config/site.php points to a sub-directory in "/updates". If you're using the original core located in "/concrete", you have to remove that constant completely.

Can you try to remove that constant and see if that changes anything?
