Upgrade script times out

Hi all, I am upgrading from 5.3.2 to 5.3.3.1.
Upgrade script times out on the hosting I am with (I am certain it is timeout). I have requested increase in timeout, but it is Saturday and they probably will not get around to it untill Monday.
Site is not down and when I login to dashboard it shows that I am running 5.3.3.1, but the site doesn't look right.
This upgrade is a stop gap before I upgrade to 5.4.0.5. My question is:
Do you think I can push on with the next upgrade even though this one is not finished?
It would be really great to know at which stage upgrade got stuck.
Was there any database schema changes between 5.3.2 and 5.3.3.1?
I have a copy of this site on a different host and I was able to upgrade without a problem. Unfortunetly where it is hosted phpAdmin has import function disabled.
