Upgrade to 5.5.2.1 causes inability to add blocks

I have upgraded a few of my sites to the latest version of Concrete..5.5.2.1...and now I cannot add ANY blocks anywhere on any of those sites. When you click on the editable area and choose Add Block, it comes up with the options, but no matter what option I choose (Image, Content, etc.) it just sits there and spins and will not add the block to the page!

I CAN go and copy a block that I already have to the clipboard and then paste it to add a new block of that type and then just edit the content inside, but there are some blocks that I want to add, such as Tweetcrete to a page but I cannot do it.

I have asked Concrete5 for support and have gotten NOTHING! Is anyone else having this issue? Can someone help?

I haven't run into this issue, but you may want to try going to your Dashboard and clear your C5 cache and then turn it off.

Are you using an out-of-the-box theme?

I just did a manual upgrade from 5.5.1 to 5.5.2.1. I am unable to reproduce this issue with IE9 and firefox. Does a different browser exhibit the same behavior?

I found the problem. If you are a Dreamhost customer and you have the "Page Speed Optimization" enabled on your domain, you will not be able to add blocks. Turn it off, wait 10 minutes, and then it works fine.
