Upgrading from 5.4.2.2 to 5.5.1 problem.
I upgraded 2 of my sites and they became unusable.
Got a database error message for both the site and the log-ins.
After resuscitating from a near heart attack I restored my back up and they are now working. I am hosting at BlueHost and used the C5 upgrade utility on their cPanel.
Earlier I installed 5.5.1 in a folder for a new website that will be an add on domain at BlueHost. That seemed to work OK, although I think I like the old interface better. Am I courting trouble by having so many C5 databases (3) under a single primary domain?
The domains are:http://www.mc4k.com http://www.ourdailyrest.org.org

Just thinking again that I will have to download a new v5.5.1 then upload it to the database at DreamHost to solve this problem?
I can't get to my backup on the site because it's busy looking for "updates" !
This my work...what do you all think?
Thanks
Michael

Well I have a similar problem with the update from 5.4.2.2 to 5.5.1 in that it seems to have not finished the update & continues to hang "checking for updates" ? You can exit to the home page and sign out or back in but you can not do anything from the "dashboard"
I have several other sites that I updated with out any problem.
All my updates where done through the concrete5 dashboard.
I think for some reason the update did not complete it's job...why I don't know?
Thanks
Michael
