Upgrading to 5.5.0 from 5.4.0
Permalink
We had to upgrade a clients website from 5.4.0 since file set ordering was not included in that version. I wanted to be sure I could upgrade directly to 5.5.0 from 5.4.0 so I looked at the version release notes, took a look on the forum, and all I could find was the helpful warning on the downloads page "(**note, if you are running a version before 5.3.3 you must first upgrade to 5.3.3 and only then will automatic updates behave. **)".
Since my clients website is on a C5 version "after" 5.3.3, I assumed I should be good to go. Only after downloading/uploading 5.5.0 and trying to install do I get the message "You must first upgrade your site to version 5.4.2.2".
This is super annoying seeing it takes forever to upload the concrete5 directory, and especially seeing I took a look at the documentation before attempting to upgrade to avoid wasting time.
It would be nice if the upgrading/version documentation was more accurate, and it would be REALLY nice if concrete5 offered automatic upgrading (like WordPress).

If you have a look on the download page, the version that you can upgrade to via your C5 dashboard is listed under "Latest Stable version"
