user password issue

When I copy the local database to live, i cannot login to the system on live.
I think it is to do with the password field in the user table?

Any help much appreciated

Actually I think i've just need to define password salt in site.php ?

You are probably correct about the password salt, you will need to have that be the same on the live as on the local in order for the database functions to work correctly.
