Version requirements for 5.6.3.1
Permalink
Hi,
I keep having to refresh my page in order to edit it (edit button is often missing on top bar and often cant bring up edit popup on blocks).
Uninstalled and reinstalled to no effect. Im using an automated installer from my hosting company (crazy domains).
Im running the latest version of C5 (5.6.3.1). Are the below versions ok to run the latest C5 version?
Database server
Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Server type: MySQL
Server version: 5.5.37-cll - MySQL Community Server (GPL)
Protocol version: 10
Server charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
Web server
cpsrvd 11.44.1.17
Database client version: libmysql - 5.1.73
PHP extension: mysqli Documentation
phpMyAdmin
Version information: 4.1.8, latest stable version: 4.2.8

No one here knows?
I'm pretty sure I'm running almost exactly the same setup on one of my vps - except for accessing the db using unix socket.
It sounds more like you have an issue loading the javascript in your theme - this could be related to problems with the theme or with resource issues on the server. I have seen some instances where resources load so slowly that the kind of thing you are describing happens.
What do your server logs show? I did recently have an issue switching php versions and C5 filling the php error log so much it caused problems (Wasn't 5.6.3.1 though).

That page only supplies for 7 and 8. Is there a location that provides for older versions - like 5.6.3.1? That information would be helpful when arguing with hosting companies like GoDaddy.
