When I go to System & Maintenance then Updates there is nothing in Updates.
I have 5.4.0.5 and I want the newest version please help

First, since you are on a pretty old version now, you should look at this guide about updating before you get started:

It sounds like you aren't going to be able to upgrade through your dashboard, so you should look at this guide for manually updating:
