First things first...
Being that this is a new site hosting with a new domain, try creating a test page that yields something useful.

save this:

in a file called simple_test.php and upload it to the root folder @ yourdomain.com.

Then using a web browser type in the FULL url "http://yourdomain.com/simple_test.php"

post or link back the results.

This will let us know that DNS is functioning and your webserver is answering requests for your Domain. Plus results from the php script will give us some insight to your servers config.

I will look at your PHP Config.

I am having numerous issues getting Concrete5 properly configured on my back-end (Windows Server 2008-RC2/IIS 7.5/PHP 5.2.6) As I troubleshoot the various errors, I am encouraged by the Quality and Style of coding by the development team at Concrete5.

So far, all of the issues I have discovered are web server centric (IIS behaviour inconsistent with Apache). So, as soon as I can sort out these minimal differences, I am confident that Concrete5 will become my main deployment platform for Windows/IIS and Linux/Apache.

I am typing up some debug code to put into dispatcher.php and base.php that will give us a better idea of what is transpiring on the server side ... I'll post it here in about 15 min.

Question #1: I don't see an index.php in your <path>/public_html/ folder. Where did you upload the Concrete5 package?

Question #2: Are you familiar with FTP? Confortable with modifying the PHP files to troubleshoot your install?

Your server config is more current than my own and appears to have the necessary modules installed. I think you may just have Concrete5 in the wrong folder or a sub-folder perhaps.

Here's some debug code you can use to track down the problem you're having with your install.

This is a long time ago. I have been in hospital and I lost the sight in one of my eyes, so it is much more difficult behind the screen as my 'good' has been lasered too. That is why I did not pay any attention to my site, as you must have noticed. Well I am used working with script and FTP and I put in the part you for debugging.

Well it didn't work well. In an errorlog I get all kinds of failures like this:

So it does not find the Xenolog.txt and writes nothing.

You said I maybe used the wrong directory to put concrete in. I put it in /public_html/concrete/ and there is a index.php file in the root that points to the concrete/dispatcher.php
Nothing wrong I think, but.... it still does not work and I read so many good reviews about. This CMS.

Well I hope you understand my abscence the last 2 months and ofcourse I do hope you still have an answer.
