Why does my url looks like www.mysite.com/concrete5.4.2.2/ ?
Does anyone know if this is correct? Previously when I installed c5, I would copy all contents of the concrete5.4.2.2 folder and place the contents directly at the rot (ie public_hmtl). This time around the installation page was coming up with little green question marks if I placed everything in the root, but worked fine in the concrete5.4.2.2 folder. Is this the proper thing to do?
Hi, you would probably have been better off putting it into the root. Like you have seen, now people must go to that directory to reach your homepage. I would be inclined to delete and reinstall in the root but you could technically patch it by using a redirect in the .htaccess file.

Thanks for your reply...I worked out what I was doing wrong. I was moving everything out of the concrete5.4.2.2 folder into the root and getting the error. I was supposed to just copy everything to the root.
