working with varoius sites on localserver

Hello. I am new to CMS and servers...
So I install Concrete5 on local. I worked on my site. It is Ok. it is online.
Now I want to work on a new site on local. And there, I don't know how to poroceede.
Do I have to make a new xampp + Concrete5 installation for each new site ?
It can not be possible ! I must miss something... or everything.

I think I found which way to look at .... I saw there is a lot of questions about this matter under : Running Multiple Local Sites on the forum; I'll study all the questions and answers. Coming back soon !
OK. I folowed "johnpatrick" questions and answer posted on june 2, 2011.
It seems as I have ton have one concrete5 install for each site I host home; I just made a little change as I am not running with MAMP but XAMPP. Il means the adress i not
localhost:8888:newsite but localhost/newsite.
