Two TLDs, both english, one website
Permalink
Hi All, I'm looking for some advice about hosting two domains on one site.
Obviously I don't want to duplicate content.
The site is an interntaional motorsports site .com but we are based in the UK and we would like to have a UK home page for visitors arriving from the .co.uk address.
I understand how to use google webmaster tools and my server's redirects etc. But I'm wondering how I could retain separate home pages for each domain. Each homepage would have different content. I would hope to retun uk visitors to the uk homepage when they select "home" and all other visitors would see the .com home page.
I have a few ideas how to implement it but I'm wondering whether any of you have come across a similar situation and have some ideas? Or have implemented something similar without infringing duplicate content guidance?
Many thanks in advance.
Mike
