Accepting payments with PayPal Pro
Permalink
Here's my situation:
- I had the PayPal Payments Pro Gateway with the Concrete5 eCommerce add on working at one point on my client's website.
- Somewhere along the line it stopped working and now when the user goes to pay, they get the following message:
SetExpressCheckout API call failed.
Detailed Error Message: Security header is not valid
Short Error Message: Security error
Error Code: 10002
Error Severity Code: Error
- I suspect that it stopped working either when we moved the site to a different domain or we upgraded to Concrete5 version 5.5, but I do not know for sure.
- PayPal says that the error message means that they have received invalid API credentials. I have double and tripped checked the credentials I entered into the PayPal Payments Pro Gateway. I have even deleted the existing credentials in PayPal and requested new ones.
What I need is to get the site up and running again accepting credit cards and PayPal payments without the user being redirected to the PayPal site. I do not care if we use the same gateway I'm using now. I just need it to work.
