Subject: Call for Development Bid

I am in search of a development company to help me evolve my Concrete 5 site,www.www.YogaTeacherCentral.com.... It is a membership site with some content accessible only by members. The site has been live since mid-April 2012. I wish to complete this upgrade asap, in September 2012. I am open to changing my hosting company as part of this process.

#1 - Payment Processing
* My top priority is immediate evolution of the payment processing from paypal only to credit card. (Whether paypal is an option or not doesn't matter to me.)
* It must allow payment with credit card and also automatic monthly billing.
* In addition, I want to offer numerous payment options for membership access rather than only one (e.g. 3 months for $x/mo, 12 months for $x/mo, 1 time membership for x years $x, joint membership with another site $x, etc.).
* I expect as part of this process that the "Join" form will be formatted nicely & become consistent with rest of site.
* In addition, I would like to eliminate current glitch where members who do not complete join process the first time are unable to complete it later as their email address registers on Yoga Teacher Central as already being used. (I must manually delete the email so they can begin again.)

Note: Julia of Concrete5.org suggested the built in concrete5 registration and membership functionality:

She also suggested I consider adding PayPal Payment Pro for credit cards. There's an add-on for ecommerce for that gateway:

#1A - CRM
* As part of this payment processing upgrade, I'd like to use a system that integrates a customer management program to send automatic welcome messages, etc.

#2 - Home Page Minor Design Edit
I would like to know the cost for a slight alteration of the home page to include some sort of bubble or space up-top where I can highlight new content, new pricing, a promo, or whatever. Also, I'd be interested as part of this slight alteration to get any other suggestions to ensure the site doesn't look stagnant just because all the new content is inside the site.

#3 - Eliminate Simultaneous Login
Users can login with the same sign-on data from multiple locations. I would like to eliminate this security issue & my understanding is that Concrete 5 does have a solution for this.

#4 - Ipad Site Editing
I would like to know the fee to enable me to edit the site from my Ipad.

As part of bid documentation, I would appreciate specification of who my account manager will be & how the communication processes & timing are handled until the project goes live. What will cause pricing outside of the bid and what process is followed to let me know if something is outside bid? I had a successful launch of the site with no cost over-runs and clear communication; a later small project wasn't handled similarly and I'd like to maintain the positive professional approach! : )

Sincerely,

Shelly Thorn

Hello,

I thought I would give you some info that yo might find useful:
- the core ecommerce add-on also has an extension for paid memberships that seems to be doing exactly what you're looking for.
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/i-belong-the-paid-membe...
To be honest reviews are quite bad when it comes to support but the add-on itself seems ok.

- I believe that as of C5 5.6 (latest version) the dashboard is now adapted to ipad and other touch devices.

I am a small one person website design operation so I'm not sure that's what you're looking for but I thought you could use some info.

Anyway, if you want to know more I'll be more than happy to discuss it with you.

Good luck

Thank you so much for sharing what you know. I appreciate the reply.

In general, I do hesitate to work with a one-man shop. But if you have a client list and testimonials and would like to talk more, I'm certainly willing to consider it as this is a project of limited scope.

The priority for me is a very quality, professional, reliable job as I and my business completely rely on the site to perform reliably as expected. And since this is the payment processing, it's of course a critical aspect.

I can talk on Monday if you would like to discuss further.
Sincerely,
Shelly

I think someone is at the moment working on a CRM addon for the marketplace. (I could guess a name, but could get it wrong, so suggest searching the forums for the threds where it is discussed.)
