cannot edit my site as the buttons for edit are missing after I log in.

I am trying to edit tmy website but no matter what I do and the number of vidoes I view the buttons they use are not on my website for me to edit it's content. I am extremely frustrated please help I have been trying to deal with this when I get time to do it for 12 months at least.

I think any jquery or javascript will be conflict on your site.

Hi,
it could be as pracus1 said that you have a jquery/javascript conflict: in which case you'll just need to dig in and track it down.

Another thing I'd check that definitely has caused this issue in the past is that you definitely have this call in your footer or the bottom part of your theme template if you are not including a footer:

<?php loader::element('footer_required');?>

if this has somehow gone missing from your theme template it could be causing this.

I have no idea what theme you are using but if all of your content areas are named as per C5 best practices then you could try activating one of the core themes to see if you can edit ok using that and then work back from there.
