Convert custom theme to concrete5 theme
Permalink
I bought a great website theme. It is written in xhtml I uploaded it ftp to the root themes folder and Concrete5 choked on it and froze my login with an error message. Message says Cannot find view.php and default.php. I simply want the thing to work with concrete5 and found out in the forums that I need to convert it to concrete five. From the basic tutorial which is rather geekish for me I am not html literate. I was wondering what it would cost for someone to write in the codes necessary for the theme work to with concrete 5
I just saw your message... I'll take a look and see if I can do something.
Thank You , Nicole
No problem, but please note it will take some time (less than a week I hope) because it needs a lot of customization...
Don't Bother Nicole I am getting my money back on the theme. I'm going with Wordpress thanks for you offer to help but I have decided to go a different direction . Thanks , again.
Hello,
I saw your post on oDesk and here. Did you find a theme you like for WordPress? Do you mind if I take a look at it, and see what would be involved to have it work with either Concrete5 or WordPress?

Hi Riverhooks, just a few notes on this post.
When you ask people not to use or break copyrights you should be aware that you have already broken yourself by posting the full theme and its files in an open forum.
So you made accessible to nayone a purchased theme, therefore as I read on the license it states that :
"WHAT YOU CANNOT DO:
You may not sell/giveaway our templates to 3rd parties.
".
My advise his for you to edit your initial post and remove the attachement, or replace it with a picture.
Other than that you theme looks very straight forwardrd to be implemented to c5.
Regards
Paulo
