Create a Package for Skeleton Framework
Permalink
Hi,
I've been using 5.6 for a couple of years and just installed 5.7.3 to commence a clients website. So far I am liking the new way of doing things.
I had a bash at creating a package for the skeleton framework but got a bit confused.
Would someone be interested in creating a Skeleton Framework package for me please?http://getskeleton.com/
Please advise of your interest and cost. Thanks.

Hi goutnet,
Thanks for your response. I require the Skeleton framework to be put into a Package so I can choose it in the editing mode instead of just using the freestyle layout.
It is outlined herehttp://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/5.7/designing-for...
Does that explain thing?

A majority of my themes in the marketplace use the Skeleton framework, so I can easily help with this.
If interested, please send me a private message with more details on what you're looking for, and I'll provide a quote.

Thanks Brad, I'll pm you.
I did the package tutorial here and it worked like a charm for me: http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/5.7/designing-for...
I have created my theme ok, but I now want to get the Skeleton framework into the grid instead of using the freestyle system.
I will look at the tutorial again as I must be getting confused about something. Hopefully it will click!

I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with. Are you planning on adding to the marketplace? I had a look at Skeleton after you posted and it's a really nice simple framework.

I'd be keen to know if you manage to get a custom grid working properly in a package.
I can get custom grids working fine outside of a package but get errors when editing a container layout once it's in a package.

Thank you for the links, I have looked at those too and still not quite getting it.
No I won't be adding it to the marketplace as I'm not a developer, which is why I'm struggling a little even though the instructions seem fairly straight forward.
Would be keen to pay someone to do this for me :)

anete is not asking for advice. She is looking to hire someone. Just a reminder to everyone that the 'Jobs' forum is supposed to be used to hire concrete5 professionals to get the job done for you. That is why there were 2 developers already offering their services. It is not a place to offer DIY advice.
Oops. I didn't even look to see if it posted in jobs.
Redacted.
Thanks mhawke, yes you are correct, but it is always nice to see people willing to help and good to meet people in the C5 community along the way.
What exactly do you want, as packages can pretty much do anything…
