We are a rental company and currently have ecommerce on our C5 site to list all our product available for rent on a single, per day basis.

But, of course, we can rent a product, or a multiple number of those products, for a price, either per day, per week, or per month.

So for example, a client may want to hire 3 x plasma screens for 2 days.

Or they may want 1 plasma for 7 days.

The rental industry generally charges 3 (sometimes 4) days for a weeks hire, so if a single unit is £10 a day, you can hire this unit for 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 days for £30. To hire this unit for 15 days would be £70, you get the idea :)

A month is usually 9 days.

Could anyone here quote us to make the necessary modifications to allow ecommerce to handle this?

I also believ this could be sold as a stand alone product, when made, to other rental companies who could then choose to use ecommerce and concrete 5 for the same purposes.

Ideally, our customers would be able to enter the hire dates at the start or end of the selection process, and the system would do the calculation of the multipliers.

It may not be an immediate commission, but we need to know a budget to work towards, so no rush.
