Using the ecommerce add-on, I am trying to set up a store that sells bulk products. We give bulk discounts, most of the products will be sold with tiered pricing.

Some products have several customer choices involved which they can mix/match, for example, a customer could buy 12 items in any color combinations they want out of a set of 10 color choices.

I am running into a problem here. The tiered pricing seems to work fine without customer choices, but let's say a customer chooses 2 red items @ one price tier, and then 4 blue items @ another price tier. The items should all be priced at the 6 price tier. The shopping cart does not properly apply discounts to these items as a group of the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
