Fixes and updates for Officevsoffice.com

Update: This project is still available.
Officevsoffice.com Maintenance and updates:
This is my site, which I designed and was built by another developer a few years ago. I need to make some serious improvements and I want to know what the costs will be before going all in. I have a list of items to address at the bottom but here is a synopsis of the project.
The general work will cover fairly minor but critical updates made to my website 'officevsoffice.com'. I would estimate the most important fixes/changes to be 1.5 days worth of work, less if you know the site well. I am looking to support better touch screen behavior, changing 2 animations, fix the way some content is breaking on a particular breakpoint, exposing the 'About Page' content, some UI modifications, and fixing some logic that displays projects incorrectly and breaks when navigating, plus some other minor details with content loading incorrectly. I have some additional asks for a second scope should this be a painless experience.
If you can share some of your work that is similar, it does not need to be built in C5, that incorporates video and other media types, is built on a responsive framework and design for multiple break points, exhibits both desktop and touch interfaces correctly, indicates a strong sense of animation or motion I would love to see them. If you are interested in working on this and potentially other similar projects please reach out so we can discuss project costs, schedule, process, and your work. Thanks.
These notes may be a bit vague so I am happy to walk someone through it, might make more sense than providing a lot more detail here but lets see what kind of a response I get from this community, never worked with it before, excited to hear back, thanks
officvsoffice.com does not load the url, buthttp://www.officvsoffice.com does. Can you fix this, o do I ned to do this? I know I’ve fixed it before...
Project descriptions, stays white until the title region is at or near the bottom. Notice on how tablets it bounces back and goes light again right away.
On a large tablet I scroll the project page up to see text and when the image is the full bleed version I see a large white band about 40 pixels tall and full width at the bottom of the screen.
I would also like to support something a little better for mobile, the tap to see the arrows only, then tap the arrows to see more small images, is not cutting it. I wonder if we can easily open up getting to a project page again just so we can look at it and see how it works. Right now if I type in a specific project URL I get redirected when on mobile. I would also be interested in always displaying the arrows.
Can you also take stock and make some notes for me on what project image sizes determine how they get used differently, eg the full bleed images scaling and how the other non full bleed images work (any rules like, always at the top etc) and at what size this begins.
On a tablet when I scroll up and or down on a project image the bg image disappears, or reloads, as I reach the top and or bottom? This is not consistent though I have seen it happen a lot.
'Image view’ in the nav should say ‘Back To Work’ or ‘Back to Play’ contextually.
Remove the address in the contact section, just have it say San Francisco CA 94103. I’ll also be providing some new copy for this page, or is this something I can update on my own so long as the copy does not exceed the containers there?
supporting swipe on moving through images of a project, one image at a time.
look at how project number updates on the Play section.
mobile officevsoffice.com/m
The header is breaking
Can not get into the home page from mobile, lets understand why.
Look into supporting swipe on the home page,
Video on mobile needs a play icon, and then needs to load the video correctly? Not sure what is happening here and if we need to do something extra to support video further.
About Us: Remove the animation of the text.
Tablet and Phone tapping on a thumbnail image does not load the project, or do anything, maybe it doesn’t even report the tap or capture taps at all? I would prefer if this supported swiping more than tapping, and if the images rotated left to right, right to left in the direction of the swipe. If this is much more involved I would suggest rebuilding the container carousel to be more functional and reuse that pattern throughout.
‘View Full Project’ needs to be tappable for sure! What a miss, only the icon is tappable.
And that's it, thanks!
Erik

Hi Wayne, thanks for reaching out,
I’ve checked out most of your example sites, thanks for sharing. I am hoping to find someone who has a bit more experience working with phone apps and touch devices, showing proficiency with responsive frameworks, a sense of motion or use of animations on UI or story telling, and any other elegant creative ways to solve for different screen sizes and multiple devices these days.
If any of your projects should be viewed on a phone or you want to point me to a specific url or project, please let me know.
The site also needs to have it’s PHP version updated and I presume the latest C5 release incorporated as well. Something I am hoping is done relatively easily while the other code is worked on, but I just wanted to bring that to your attention.
Separately I am also exploring porting the site over to a wordpress site, do you have any experience porting C5 to WP?
If you have some time early next week, say Monday or Wednesday, lets pencil a call in and I can tell you a bit more about what I am looking for and we can discuss logistics and scope afterwards. I’m in California, where are you?
Thanks
Erik
