Description
The Web Developer helps plan and develop web properties. She/he balances a command of technology with a desire to collaborate with strategic and design counterparts. This individual builds innovative and functional products on time, while assisting with the maintenance of existing projects.

Experience and Skills
- Three to five years of web development experience
- Proficient in responsive website development using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
- Competent in web app development using PHP and JavaScript
- Experience in database design and programming
- Understanding of leading content management systems
- Adept with cross-browser/platform issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities
- Develop websites using a variety of languages, in a team setting
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff and participate in meetings
- Contribute insights/ideas and communicate project status/challenges
- Research and assess technologies and share findings
- Work with external companies (i.e. ISPs, partners) as required
- Address errors and make modifications as identified through QA
- Prepare website/app documentation throughout the project lifecycle
