My brother and I are creating a web service that will allow people to edit their sites and select information to be on their site from a predifined database of articles and images.

We would like them to be able to log into their site and then

1. click a block to modify
2. Add content by selecting an article or image from our database (ajax file manager) we would like this function to be more visual with previews rather then having them just select files from a tree
3. that article and image will be customized for that client by by having their information put into tagged areas in that article

We know that we need to do this using some a file manager (AJAX preferably) and we can use a PHP GET, PUT to access the our mysql database.

We are up for any ideas you have for how to get the articles or images to preview but we have an example site we can give you access to.
