Modification of Slate Template (@Font-face and removal of breadcrumbs)

I am a freelance graphic designer who is in the process of building two websites using the Slate theme (This is my first time using Concrete 5)

I need two modifications done to both these sites, and the same mods to some projects planned for later in Jan.

When I have more time I want to learn html/css etc. and figure out how to do these modifications myself. So a mentor who can also guide me / show me their workings would be appreciated. These 2 sites are 2 of 4 projects that I have for Jan and potential for 2 more after that and so having a partner/go-to for any code work could be a nice little side earner for someone plus if we end up working well together I could potentially be able to take on some of the larger more complicated projects that I have so far been turning down.

The modifications:

1. To add @font-face
I believe you create a Typography.CSS to do this so that if updates the Slate theme then these font changes don't get over written. For both sites (and future projects) I am thinking of using Helvectica Light as the default font for the site . I understand that there are some issues with HTML 5 and IE - someone who understands these issues and can guide me through which font families to pick to cover regressions would be good. * Also as part of this the footer stack has the font shadowed I will want this shadow effect turned off.

2. To remove the page bread crumbs and page title
Slate always creates a 'stack' with the page title in large letters on the left and the breadcrumbs for navigation of the right. I want this removed please or at the very least this to form the footer of the page and be much smaller font.

These are the 1st drafts for my sites so far -

Please send examples of your work and testimonials plus your hourly rate and estimate for this work.

There may also be some other changes to these sites at a later stage, subject to the costs involved.

Fingers crossed someone in C5 land can help me fairly quickly
