Hiring someone to create 1 (maybe 2) blocks that will enable users to vote on pages.

I'm not sure if I actually need blocks created or just a piece of code that I can add to my site or to my theme.

What I'm looking for is a voting system that I can place on my site's pages and users can vote either up or down and display the number of upvotes and downvotes.

The second part is displaying the pages that have been voted, on a separate page, based on those votes, starting from highest to lowest. I would also like to separate the results that are beneath a certain page (and select that page) just like the built-in auto-nav and Date Navigation blocks.

I'm guessing the already build in rating system can be used as well as the build-in page selector.

Thank you and looking forward to your offer.

There is an addon that does something very close to what you're describing. Check it out here:

Although it doesn't have "thumbs up / down", you might be able to create a custom template that does that.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I'm already using that addon, and it's working decently. It has 2 problems though.

1. I want it to have thumbs up/down
2. I want it to display the number of up and down votes
3. I want it to sort the results based on those votes

(unfortunately, the addon doesn't sort the pages based on number of votes, but on the rating itself, and if 2 or more pages have the same rating the addon considers them equal and it places the one that received the latest vote on the top and it should resort to sorting them by number of votes if the rating is 5stars for both).

If you think you can modify the addon to do what I need, I would be more than happy to pay you to do it.
