For quotes and estimates, you could just make a page on your site for the quote, and set the permissions on it so only logged in users can view it. When the user clicks the link, they would be prompted to register or login. (You'd also want to add exclude from nav / sitemap attributes to it). If you want an email with boilerplate text to be sent to the user when you publish the page or something along those lines, you might have to have a developer extend the page publish event. Alternatively, they could make a dashboard interface that takes client data that publishes a page with your quote data and sends off the email.
