You might have done this already but after you move a site, make sure you delete all files and folders beneath '[root]/files/cache' leaving an empty 'cache' folder. It's better not to migrate these files in the first place so I always delete them before moving the site.

yeah I have done this and it makes no difference. It is so weird as most images work but a few don't.

The old site works perfectly

It is odd because the 'src' for the <img> tag is actually blank. I've never seen that. Does this happen even after you re-edit the offending block and add the image back in?

Yeh, I have tried everything, If I go back in and edit the image it comes up in the page but not in the editor

How about the URL Director add-on. That's the only one I see that might be doing funny things to URL's.

What is the URL supposed to be for the "all-rubber Tideflex check valve"?

http://46.20.119.159/~tmdesign/www.measurit.com/valves/tideflex-check-valves/

Not sure it helps

Sorry, I mean the URL for the image src="" that should be on the home page...

I'm sure this has something to-do with file permissions

I have managed to fix the problem last night.

It was all due to file location settings. I didn't have the full path in place. Once I got this correct all it worked.

The problem was caused by an incomplete path:

http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/using-concrete5/dashboard/sy...

I had:
/public_html/www.measurit.com

instead of

/home/tmdesign/public_html/www.measurit.com

so the images were not able to be found.

the reason for this was the old site was sat within its own public_html folder where as the new server had a couple of folders in that folder.

It'd be a great archive resource if you go into a little detail about how you do it.

I hate finding threads like these when I'm having a problem and then a decent explanation not provided as to how to fix it.

There's no major benefit to you but somebody will love you further down the line ;-)

Just an idea.
